Shipwreck Bay — Supertubes
ReefNorthland, New Zealand
A sheltered reef break at the top of Northland that fires when large southwest swells wrap around the cape. Supertubes earns its name on big swells — hollow left-hand barrels over a shallow reef. The remote location means it rarely gets crowded, even when it's at its best. Access requires a long drive and a walk across Te Paki Stream.
